Disney and Pixar have officially announced that a sequel to the acclaimed animated film Coco, titled Coco 2 ( Viva – A Vida é uma Festa 2 in Brazil), is currently in development. Scheduled for a 2029 theatrical release, the project is set to see the return of the original directing team and voice cast, following an older Miguel exploring new adventures in the Land of the Dead.
