There’s a theory that it’s part of an older ARG (Alternate Reality Game) that went inactive years ago, leaving this file as one of the only remaining "artifacts."

The file is heavily encrypted. Standard "brute force" methods don't seem to work, leading some to believe the password is hidden in the metadata or requires a specific hex editor to reveal.
