The story follows Kai Jin, an unassuming San Francisco chef who discovers he is the latest in a line of mystical "Wu Assassins". His mission is to recover supernatural powers from five modern-day criminals (the Wu Lords) who control the elements of Fire, Earth, Wood, Metal, and Water.
