Leo watched the top corner of his screen. One dot. Two. Then, the word LTE appeared like a magic spell. Suddenly, his pocket buzzed with three days of missed life. Maps loaded, messages flooded in, and the digital tether to the world snapped tight again. "How much?" Leo asked, reaching for his wallet.

"I need a SIM card," Leo said, his voice a bit too loud. "Where can I get one? Is it here?"

Leo stepped back out into the humid night, the glowing screen now a compass instead of a brick. He wasn't lost anymore. He was just a tourist with a plan.
