In this episode, Steve McGarrett takes his new date, Lynn Downey, to a deserted island for a romantic afternoon of snorkeling. However, the date quickly turns into a fight for survival when they stumble upon a hidden plane in the jungle. It turns out that a dangerous mob boss, Dennis Logan, has been using the remote island as a hideout for four years after faking his death in a plane crash. Logan and his partner hunt the couple down to keep their location a secret, but McGarrett uses his SEAL skills to protect Lynn and eventually subdues both criminals.
