Ataru encounters a mysterious girl in an ox-drawn carriage who claims to be Mendo's fiancée, causing a school-wide frenzy. It is eventually revealed that she is actually Ryoko Mendo , Shutaro's younger sister, who enjoys playing elaborate, often dangerous pranks for her own amusement.
