Under the guidance of a mysterious man called "The Professor", a group of robbers, Tokyo, Rio, Berlin, Nairobi, Denver, Moscow, Oslo, and Helsinki, invade the Royal Mint of Spain and take hold of 67 hostages as part of their plan to print, and escape with, €2.4 billion. Raquel Murillo, a police investigator is put in charge of the case, unaware that the mastermind is closer than she could ever imagine.
Time Shifter 0.4.1 is a must-download for fans of the genre. It’s a "quality of life" update disguised as a version jump—fixing the engine under the hood so that the core time-bending mechanics can finally shine without the technical hiccups.
The time-manipulation physics feel "weightier." There’s a noticeable improvement in how objects react to being frozen or reversed in time—less "floaty" and more predictable.
The tutorial elements are still a bit thin. Newcomers might find themselves "shifting" into walls or soft-locking physics puzzles until they get the hang of the timing. Final Thought
While still keeping its distinct aesthetic, 0.4.1 introduces cleaner textures and improved lighting models that make the environments feel less sterile. The Pros
If earlier versions of Time Shifter felt like a promising tech demo, is where it starts to feel like a cohesive experience. This "public offline" build specifically targets stability, moving away from the bug-heavy experiments of the 0.3 era and delivering a much smoother loop for players who prefer to keep their saves local. What’s New & Notable
This is easily the most stable version to date. Memory leaks that used to crash the game after 40 minutes of play seem largely patched.
The biggest draw here is the reliability of the public offline build. You aren’t tethered to server pings, which significantly cuts down on the micro-stutters that plagued previous iterations.
Being a "0.4" build, you’ll still hit the end of the current narrative/level path relatively quickly. It’s a deep experience, but not yet a long one.
