When standard methods like drawing pictures and using padded mallets fail, Dr. Monroe resorts to extreme shock therapy. The Simpsons end up shocking each other so relentlessly that they cause a city-wide brownout. Dr. Monroe eventually gives up, refunding them double their money ($500) just to get them to leave. The episode ends with the family happily using the windfall to buy a new, better TV.
