"The Italian Job" is a 2003 heist film directed by F. Gary Gray. The movie is a remake of the 1969 original film of the same name. The 2003 version stars Mark Wahlberg, Charlize Theron, Donald Sutherland, and Eddie Murphy.

The film follows a group of professional thieves, led by Charlie Croker (Mark Wahlberg), who plan to steal a large shipment of gold in Italy. The team, which includes experts in various fields such as hacking (Livingston Dell, played by Eddie Murphy), safe-cracking (Charlie Croker), and driving (Alessandro Callegari, played by Giovanni Grimaldi), successfully execute the heist.

However, things take a turn when the team's leader, Charlie, is betrayed by a fellow crew member, Backy (Butch Coolidge, played by Scott Eastwood was not in this film but Baturinoff as Butch), and left for dead. Charlie survives and sets out to exact revenge and retrieve the stolen gold.
