Suddenly, the door swung open. A woman stumbled in, looking like she’d just been chased through a haunted car wash. This was Nadia, a client who seemed to be suffering from a particularly nasty gypsy curse. Behind her, a loony gargoyle’s head floated into the room, cackling to itself.
"Mendonça!" the gargoyle shrieked. "The monsters are disappearing! All of them! Well, the ones with good dental plans, anyway!"
Their investigation led them through the bizarre, neon-lit underbelly of Lisbon, where monsters lived side-by-side with humans in a state of mutual annoyance. They met a crossdressing Oracle who gave them clues that made less sense than a tax return, and narrowly avoided a car chase that ended with Dog accidentally biting a tire.
