The story follows (played by Jung Ji-hoon, known as Rain), a talented but rebellious pilot in the elite "Black Eagles" flight team. After performing a dangerous unauthorized stunt at an air show, he is demoted to a combat unit where he clashes with the disciplined ace pilot Cheol-hui . Tae-hun eventually falls for Se-young , the unit's head of maintenance, while adjusting to his new squad. The stakes escalate when an unidentified North Korean MIG fighter crosses the border, leading to a deadly dogfight over Seoul and a high-stakes rescue mission to prevent an all-out nuclear war.
