The story follows (Jan Hrynkiewicz), a 22-year-old horse farmer in the Podhale region of southern Poland. Bartek lives a monotonous life, tethered to his struggling farm and his possessive, emotionally dependent mother. His routine is disrupted when Dawid (Paweł Tomaszewski), an older musician, returns to the village for his father’s funeral.
