Set in a small town in Massachusetts, the story follows four high school friends—Wren, Hallie, Chloe, and Katie—who perform an online ritual to summon the legendary Slender Man. Their goal is to debunk the myth, but the situation turns dire when Katie mysteriously disappears a week later. As the remaining girls investigate her disappearance, they discover Katie's involvement in the occult and realize they are being stalked by the faceless, tall entity. The entity begins to haunt them, distorting their perception of reality and leading to psychological and physical torment.
