The series ends on a hopeful note. Madame Web finally takes Peter to find the , who had been lost in another dimension earlier in the series. As they disappear into a portal together, Peter vows that wherever she is, he will find her.

The episode begins in a high-tech, dystopian New York City where (a Peter Parker consumed by the Carnage symbiote) intends to use a "Time-Dilation Accelerator" to destroy all of existence.
