As Echo works to flush out the stalker, she discovers that Rayna herself has a bit of a death wish, fueled by the pressures of fame. Echo must protect Rayna not just from the outside threat, but from her own self-destructive impulses. The play ends with the famous "door slam"

Taissa’s past begins to bleed into her political campaign. We see her childhood trauma—specifically a terrifying experience with her dying grandmother—which seems to be the root of her current sleepwalking and psychological distress.
