[s10e1] Lard Of The Dance Now
Homer realizes that fat can be sold for profit. He begins by frying massive amounts of bacon, only to realize the bacon costs more than the grease is worth.
Lisa feels alienated as her friends ditch "childish" things for perfume, dating, and a school dance organized by Alex. Lisa struggles to balance her desire to stay a child with the social pressure to mature. However, the dance ends up revealing that despite their "cool" outfits, the boys and girls are still just nervous kids hiding on opposite sides of the gym. The B-Plot: Homer’s Grease Scheme [S10E1] Lard of the Dance
The two stories collide at the school dance. During a fight between Homer and Willie in the kitchen vents, a grease pipe bursts. The ventilation fans chop the flowing grease into "flakes," showering the students in what looks like snow but tastes like "fish sticks." This disgusting turn of events breaks the tension, and the kids—including Alex—abandon their mature personas to enjoy a messy grease-ball fight.
