The story follows two teenage friends, (Johnny Depp) and Ben (Rob Morrow), who spend a wild weekend at a luxury Florida resort in Miami. Their primary goal is to chase and hook up with beautiful, wealthy women. However, their plans go sideways when they cross paths with "The Maestro" (played by Hector Elizondo ), a jewel thief attempting to steal a diamond necklace from a wealthy guest.
