Metal Alice reactivates Rico's control sensor, forcing him to attack his new friends. To save him, the Rangers must destroy the sensor without destroying Rico himself.

Emma (the Pink Ranger) senses the robot is not evil and stops the others from attacking it. The Rangers take the robot in, naming him "Rico," and spend the day teaching him about human life, such as playing in the park and the concept of fun.

After the sensor is destroyed, Rico regains his free will. To keep him safe from further manipulation by Metal Alice, Emma helps him escape Earth, sending him into space where he can be truly free. Key Educational Themes
