As the island's stability crumbled, a group of "SoloQ Legends" (expert players known for surviving the toughest matches featured on community channels ) realized they had to reach the core. They fought through waves of Zacian and Mewtwo that had been buffed beyond recognition by the patch.

: Pokémon usually limited by "official" licenses started appearing in forms never seen before. A Cinderace began leave trails of neon blue fire, and Gengar could phase entirely into the ground of the central area, becoming an invisible hunter that didn't show up on any mini-map.

    Excellent case. A few months before this was published, I met Lee Ranaldo at a film he was presenting and I brought this album for him to sign. Lee said it was his “favorite” Sonic Youth album, and (no surprise) it’s mine too, which is why I brought it.

    For the record, I love and own nearly every studio album they released, so it’s not a mere preference for a particular stage of their career – it’s simply the one that came out on top.

    Nice appreciative analysis of Sonic Youth’s strongest and most artistic ’90s album. I dug a little deeper in my analysis (‘Beyond SubUrbia: A View Through the Trees’), but I think my Gen-x perspective demanded that.
