Eloise Turner, a young woman from the countryside with a deep love for the 1960s, moves to London to study fashion at the London College of Fashion. Struggling to fit in with her hard-partying roommates, she moves into a quiet bedsit in Soho owned by the elderly Ms. Collins.

Desperate to find the truth, Eloise becomes convinced she is witnessing the murder of Sandie at the hands of Jack. She suspects an old man she sees at a local pub might be the aged Jack. In a shocking twist, she discovers the old man was actually a sympathetic policeman, and the true killer was Sandie herself. Sandie had fought back against Jack and the men who exploited her, killing them and hiding their bodies in the walls of the house.

The story reaches a climax when Ms. Collins reveals she is the elderly Sandie. After a final, violent confrontation and a devastating fire that consumes the house, Eloise narrowly escapes with the help of her friend John. Sandie chooses to stay and perish with her past.
