The story follows (played by Emma Corrin ), a young woman who marries the wealthy aristocrat Sir Clifford Chatterley ( Matthew Duckett ). Shortly after their marriage, Clifford returns from World War I paralyzed from the waist down and reliant on a wheelchair.
