(originally titled Ladybug & Cat Noir: Awakening during production) is a 2023 animated musical superhero film that serves as an origin story for the popular French franchise. Directed by Jeremy Zag, the film explores how teenagers Marinette Dupain-Cheng and Adrien Agreste were chosen to become the legendary heroes Ladybug and Cat Noir to protect Paris from the villainous Hawk Moth.
