Locate the two metal pins on both sides of the cartridge that hold the halves together.

: Pull the PCR out of its clips. Clean it with a soft, dry cloth.

: Some professionals prefer making small holes near the pins to push them out from the inside to avoid external damage. Disassemble the Waste Toner Bin Half

: Use a thin punch to push the pins inward from the outside.

The cartridge consists of two halves: the waste toner bin (with the drum) and the toner hopper (with the magnetic roller).

: When reassembling, ensure the tension spring is correctly positioned, or the cartridge may only print on one side.

: Check the green drum surface for scratches; it is usually the first part to wear out and cause streaks.
