Killua reveals he was first left at the arena by his father at the age of six with no money and was told to reach the 200th floor before coming home. They meet a young martial artist named Zushi
Both boys breeze through their initial matches on the lower floors using the raw strength they gained during their training at the Zoldyck estate.
During a match between Killua and Zushi, Killua is unnerved by a strange, overwhelming pressure Zushi emits. This is the first formal introduction to the concept of Nen (and its sub-principle, Ren ) in the series.
