OD is an abbreviation for the Latin term oculus dexter which means right eye. Notice that the right eye information is asked for first even though we typically read from left to right.
OS is an abbreviation of the Latin oculus sinister which means left eye. That will be referenced on the far right column of the prescription.
SPH is short for sphere. The sphere of your prescription indicates the power on the lenses that is needed to see clearly. A plus (+) symbol indicates the eyeglass wearer is farsighted. A minus (-) symbol indicates that the eyeglass wearer is nearsighted.
CYL is short for cylinder. The cylinder indicates the lens power necessary to correct astigmatism. If the column has no value (is blank), it indicates that the eyeglass wearer does not have astigmatism. If this is the case on your prescription, you can leave it blank when entering it in.
AXIS is a prescription will include an axis value for those with astigmatism. This number represents the angle of the lens that shouldn't feature a cylinder power to help correct your astigmatism.
ADD is short for "additional correction." This is where details about bifocals, multifocal lenses or progressive lenses would appear.
Contrasting this heavy foundation is the melodic "Exotic" element. The use of eerie, minor-key bells or synthetic plucks creates a haunting atmosphere that feels both expensive and paranoid. This is where the "Pooh Shiesty" energy manifests. It represents the "masked up" mentality—a world where "blowin exotic" (consuming high-end cannabis) is not just a leisure activity, but a coping mechanism for a life lived under constant surveillance and threat. The melody doesn't soar; it circles, creating a claustrophobic loop that suggests that even within wealth, there is no true escape from the grind.
In conclusion, "Blowin Exotic" is more than just a template for a rapper to overlay verses. It is a sonic landscape that maps the psyche of modern street rap. It balances the weight of the past with the neon-lit paranoia of the present, providing a canvas that is as much about the silence between the beats as it is about the violence of the percussion itself. It is a testament to the fact that in the world of Finesse and Shiesty, the most expensive habits are often born from the hardest environments. The beat’s foundation lies in its relentless, sliding 808s—a hallmark of the Memphis and New 1017 sound. These low-end frequencies do more than provide rhythm; they create a sense of physical instability. When paired with the sharp, clinical snap of the snare, the production mimics the frantic heartbeat of a high-stakes lifestyle. This is the "Finesse2Tymes" influence: a heavy, grounded authority that demands respect, echoing the grit of a veteran who has seen the coldest sides of the streets. It represents the "masked up" mentality—a world where
The instrumental titled "Blowin Exotic"—a collaborative nod to the sonic signatures of Finesse2Tymes and Pooh Shiesty—serves as a grim, atmospheric masterclass in modern trap production. On the surface, it is a high-octane "Hard Trap Beat" designed for the club or the car; however, a deeper analysis reveals a complex tension between luxury and lethality that defines the current Southern hip-hop zeitgeist. It is a sonic landscape that maps the
The "Hard Trap" label of 2022 was defined by this specific intersection: the celebratory and the sinister. The beat captures a moment in time where the music moved away from the upbeat "trap-pop" of the mid-2010s toward something much more skeletal and menacing. It is music for the "hustler" who is equally obsessed with the aesthetic of success and the reality of the risks required to maintain it.
