This game introduced more complex siege mechanics, where you can use ladders and siege rams to breach enemy bases, which many fans consider some of the best in the series.
This is the biggest change. Instead of the traditional charge attack system (Square-Square-Triangle), DW6 uses a "Renbu" gauge. Attacking without taking damage builds the gauge, unlocking longer and more powerful combo strings. Some players find this fluid and exciting, while others find it repetitive and "mashy".
