Driver: San Francisco is widely considered a high-point in the franchise, praised for its unique "Shift" mechanic and focus on high-speed, arcade-style driving. Originally released in 2011, the game follows detective John Tanner through a fictionalized San Francisco as he pursues his nemesis, Charles Jericho, while in a coma.
