The (Falcon) was the pinnacle and the final chapter of the biplane fighter era. Designed by Celestino Rosatelli as an evolution of the successful CR.32, it entered service with the Regia Aeronautica (Italian Royal Air Force) in 1939, just as modern monoplanes were beginning to dominate the skies. Despite its obsolescence, it became the most numerous Italian aircraft of World War II, with over 1,800 units produced. Operational History and Performance
