The story reunites the unlikely pair of stoic North Korean agent Im Cheol-ryung (Hyun Bin) and the endearingly goofy South Korean detective Kang Jin-tae (Yoo Hae-jin). Their mission is to track down Jang Myong-jun (Jin Seon-kyu), a ruthless North Korean crime leader who escaped FBI custody in New York and fled to Seoul with one billion dollars. The stakes go "international" with the arrival of Jack (Daniel Henney), an arrogant yet suave FBI agent who has his own agenda for capturing the fugitive.
