The system allows players to "record" and "replay" specific combat sequences by imprinting them onto their Blood Code. Unlike the standard static gifts, this feature introduces a layer of procedural skill evolution.
: As a Blood Code becomes more "saturated" with Echoes, the physical appearance of your Blood Veil changes, sprouting ethereal thorns or glowing runes that reflect the types of enemies you have been harvesting.
: In multiplayer (Co-op), players can "Sync Echoes." If your partner uses a Gift while you are in close proximity, you gain a "Residual Echo" that allows you to use a weakened version of one of their unique Blood Code Gifts for a limited time, breaking the strict limitations of your own equipped Code.
: When you perform a "Perfect Parry" or "Backstab Drain," you can choose to store the essence of that move. This fills an Echo Slot specific to your current Blood Code.
