The story follows Quentin "Q" Jacobsen (played by Nat Wolff), a shy high school senior who has spent years admiring his enigmatic neighbor, Margo Roth Spiegelman (Cara Delevingne), from a distance. Their lives collide when Margo climbs through his window one night, recruiting him for an elaborate "revenge spree" against those who betrayed her. After their moonlit adventure, Margo vanishes, leaving behind a series of cryptic clues.
