Amy and Molly are the kind of best friends who have spent their entire high school careers trading fun for 4.0 GPAs [2, 10]. On the eve of graduation, Molly has a soul-crushing epiphany: the "party kids" they looked down on also got into Ivy League schools [4, 10]. Realising they’ve missed out on the quintessential teenage experience, the duo decides to cram four years of rebellion into one chaotic night [2, 4].

Their mission is simple: get to the "cool" party hosted by Nick, Molly's crush [3, 9]. However, the night quickly spirals into a surreal odyssey [1]. They accidentally end up at a murder mystery dinner on a yacht, get unintentionally high on drug-laced strawberries, and endure an awkward Lyft ride with their own principal [3, 8].

Amidst the comedy, the film explores Amy’s journey as she navigates her crush on a cool skater girl named Ryan [1, 5]. What starts as a quest to prove they can party becomes a poignant test of their friendship [1, 2]. By the time they finally make it to the party, they’ve learned that their classmates are far more complex than the stereotypes they assigned them, and that their bond is the most important "grade" they'll ever receive [1, 3].
