The story follows (Radhika Apte), a clumsy, middle-class housewife living in Kolkata with her patriarchal husband and in-laws. Unbeknownst to her family, Durga is actually an elite undercover special agent who has been inactive for 10 years. She is suddenly recalled to active duty by her former boss, Chief Rangeela, to track down and eliminate a psycho serial killer known as "The Common Man" (Sumeet Vyas), who targets independent career women.
