Henry Pelham and Celia Harrison are veteran CIA agents and former lovers who reunite six years after a disastrous hijacking ended in tragedy. Meeting for dinner in the coastal town of Carmel-by-the-Sea, Henry reveals he has been tasked by their former boss, Vick Wallinger, to find a mole within their Vienna station who leaked information to the terrorists during the 2012 Flight 127 crisis.

The atmosphere grows increasingly claustrophobic as the psychological chess match intensifies.
