: The show officially ended in 2020 after four seasons [4]. The creators felt the story reached a natural conclusion with the characters graduating and preparing for life after high school [4, 17].

: As they prepare for their freshman year, Alexa is diagnosed with cancer. Katie, in a grand gesture of solidarity, shaves her head alongside Alexa so she won't have to face the changes alone [21].

(played by Isabel May): Quirky, loyal, and occasionally anxious, she serves as Alexa’s emotional rock while navigating her own high school struggles [6, 17]. Series Status
