Ove is the neighborhood’s "grumpy old man." A 59-year-old widower and former condominium president, he spends his days enforcing strict block association rules and visiting his wife Sonja’s grave. Having recently lost both his job and his wife, Ove has decided to end it all—until a boisterous young family moves in next door and accidentally flattens his mailbox.
